This Mentor Confidentiality Agreement ("Agreement") sets out how you, as a Preround mentor or advisor, must handle the confidential information you receive while delivering services through Preround, operated by Nerdgestudios LLC ("Preround," "we"). You accept this Agreement before you can be matched with students or career clients.
Confidential information means everything you learn or receive in connection with a Preround engagement that is not already public. This includes a student's or client's documents and materials (such as personal statements, CVs, applications, essays, scores, and practice materials), their identity and contact details, their professional and personal circumstances, the substance of your conversations, and any files shared through the platform.
You agree to keep all confidential information strictly confidential. You will not disclose it to anyone, and you will not use it for any purpose other than delivering the services you were engaged to provide through Preround.
You may use confidential information solely to perform your engagement, such as reviewing a document a student sent you or preparing for a scheduled session. You will not use it for your own benefit, for the benefit of any third party, or in any way that could harm the student or client.
You will not keep copies of a student's or client's materials beyond what you need to complete the engagement, and you will delete or return them on request or when the engagement ends. You will not forward, post, publish, or otherwise share confidential information with anyone, and you will not store it on systems outside your own control.
You will take reasonable care to protect confidential information from loss or unauthorized access, including keeping your account credentials secure and not letting others use your account.
You will conduct your engagements through Preround and will not use confidential information to solicit or transact with a student or client outside the platform.
Your obligations under this Agreement continue after an engagement ends and after your relationship with Preround ends.
If you breach this Agreement, Preround may suspend or remove your account and may pursue any remedies available under law. Nothing here limits obligations you may also owe under the Terms of Service or applicable law.
